I believe I heard once that a Nazi also rewrote the book on blood type to gain Hitlers approval on German soldiers being the supreme race. Later someone imported that book into Japan when Japan and Germany were allies in WW2.
@ Tokyo professors have alspo recently written articles in the Yomoyuri and Japan Times trying to debunk this rubbish, but naive people still believe it.
Its pretty silly. I have seen students being bullied and made fun of because “HAHAHAHA your B type! Fucking weirdo!” Yeah, like suicide Japan needs ANOTHER reason for people to off themselves.
all it takes is a fad to take off to make B type blood cool again.
just as dumb as horoscopes. so many in the west seem to think the month you were born in effects your character and future. not that i’m in any way defending this blood type nonsense.
Yep. But this graphic is killer!
I would say this is complete nonsense just like the horoscopes thing. But… that whole AB blood-type seems pretty spot on when describing all of my characteristics. weird! I’ve been often told that while I’m very intelligent, and highly rational I’m way too aloof or unforgiving at times. 😛 Then again, just like with the whole horoscopes thing there’s always going to be a few hits and misses. in my case it just happened to be a lucky hit… the only thing it got wrong is what blood types I’d get along with the best. My boyfriend is A type, and I’ve gotten along better with him than any other people in my past. ironically enough the worst ex-boyfriend I ever had was a O type.
My wife is Japanese and swears that “blood typing” is real. My arguments over it turn very nasty and I just give up.
This may sound a little tin hat, but if you look deeper into recent neurological and genetic studies this isn’t all as crazy as it might sound. ESPECIALLY the recommended dietary supplements.
